On the bottom-right of the map, click the trashcan icon to delete all your location history permanently. You'll see a map with a timeline of your activity. You'll end up on a page titled Google-wide Controls, where you can go to Location History > See & delete activity. Click the hamburger menu, and select Your data in Maps.
